Montana Housing Partnership Launches Affinity Groups
The Montana Housing Partnership (MHP) is launching two affinity groups, a new initiative that brings together practitioners to work on shared challenges and solutions. Individuals in these groups will identify needed resources for the industry and share best practices. Together, they will develop shared tools and resources, growing industry capacity through tangible activity. Below are the meeting details for each group:
Asset and Property Management
The Asset and Property Management affinity group will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, November 17th from 10-11 am. For all subsequent meetings, the group will meet the first Tuesday every other month starting in January.
Housing Preservation and Development
The Housing Preservation and Development affinity group will meet on the third Tuesday every other month starting November 17th from 3-4 pm.
With moving the Housing Conference to a biennial schedule, the Montana Housing Partnership is proposing several other initiatives that will happen in non-housing conference years alongside the affinity groups:
- June 2027: In person training focused on proforma development
- November 2027: Virtual half-day convening
If you are interested in joining an affinity group, please fill out this survey by October 19, 2026, to provide us with more information regarding group interest and feedback. To view a recording of the launch, visit our YouTube channel here.
