In December 2025, the Wagon Wheel Apartments—an 18-unit apartment complex in West Yellowstone—officially became resident-owned and entered a new chapter as the Gibbon Avenue Apartments. This milestone marks the first resident owned property of its kind in West Yellowstone and represents a powerful step toward long-term housing stability for the approximately 25 residents who call the community home.

Including a blend of manufactured homes, single-family residences, and duplexes, River Rocks became a shared equity model of ownership in September 2023. This community of 14 homes offers a diverse array of housing opportunties that will remain affordable in the Missoula area.

Wolf Avenue, an 8-unit property in Missoula’s Northside neighborhood became resident owned in May 2023. This project was two years in the making and charted the course for a new ownership model in Montana – conversion of existing apartments into shared equity ownership.
