REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT AND ACQUISITION FUND (REDA FUND)
NeighborWorks Montana is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). As part of our lending, we lend to partners in Montana that acquire existing or build new affordable housing. Our lending is generally short-term and for the acquisition of property or an existing project, for pre-development funds during the development process, or to bridge the investor capital for a Low Income Housing Tax Credit project.
Since 2008, NeighborWorks Montana has lent nearly $8.5 million to fund over 650 units of housing in Montana. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, reviewed by staff, and presented to the Real Estate Development and Acquisition (REDA) committee.
