Sometimes the best advice our counselors give is to help you sell your home, capture your equity and start over with a new home, but without a foreclosure on your credit record. If you have the ability to make payments on both your current mortgage and on a foreclosure prevention loan, you may be able to qualify for a foreclosure prevention loan, with interest rates as low as 1%.
