has helped nearly 4,000 hard-working families become homeowners. We can help you, too. The first step to homeownership is completing homebuyer education, where you will find out most of what you need to know about finding a home, buying a home, and keeping a home.
Homebuyer education is offered throughout the state by NWMT partners every month in many different cities. Once you have completed homebuyer education, your real estate professional will help you find just the right home and your lender will help you qualify for a first mortgage loan. NWMT may be able to provide a second mortgage to help you pay your down payment and closing costs.
Our mission is to create homeownership opportunities for hard-working Montana families. It takes effort to become a homeowner, but it is well worth it. Homeownership allows families to build their assets, to make their own decisions and stabilizes their environment.
