Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc. provides 1st Time Homebuyer Education classes on a monthly basis. These eight hour classes are held on two evenings from 5-9 p.m. In order to receive a Certification of Completion the participant must attend the full 8-hour session. The classes provide information on budgeting and credit, the mortgage process, down-payment and closing cost assistance, homeowners and life insurance, home maintenance, protecting your equity, title insurance and the closing process.
Advanced Registration is required; cost is $20 per person or $30 per household.
NOTE: Our classroom is not suitable for children. Please make other childcare arrangements.
